Canoeing for Kids is a volunteer, non-profit organization serving as both a fund raiser and free recreational outlet for disadvantaged children.

Canoeing for Kids' primary function is to provide free canoeing, kayaking, rafting, camping and fishing trips for underprivileged children. More than Twelve Thousand Kids have benefited from the experience of being "on the water" and "in the woods" over the past eleven years. Teamwork, self-reliance, sense of accomplishment, as well as awareness and conservation of nature is achieved while the kids simply have fun .

Free services are provided to children's homes, camps for unhealthy, physically and mentally challenged children and any other qualifying group. Adventures are catered to the individual group's skills and/or limitations.
